Oh my poor wallet! That Faramir I missed the first time is up and I always swore I would buy him the next time... And the super-rare dude with the flag will make a lot of fans happy.

Dunlendings aren't here, despite their listing as a new battle company. Maybe they'll be added to the regular orders. I love that army and would happily field them as a nice, robust battle company.

All seriousness, its really cool theyre doing this. I have most of those that I want but I am sure a lot of people will be really happy to get the chance to pick those up.

I can get behind this! Got most but very happy to pick up Halbarad and Faramir.

They usually appear at 10am local time on the Saturday.

What's the difference between all the rangers models? Eg. are the current made-to-order "rangers of the north" more accepted as the Grey Company than the "rangers of the north" that are on permanent sale? Are they meant to represent different ages of rangers?

Nah no one cares. Only pick em up if it matters to you or you really love the minis

Couldn't resist.... so many models I've been after for years, now available... I couldn't pass ! So, the order went like this.....

Faramir, Capt of Ithilien, mounted - check
Halbarad with banner - check
2 blisters of Grey Company - check
Eowyn & Merry mounted - check
New Battle Companies book - check

and for good measure....

Duinhir, a blister of Hobbit shirrifs and a blister of Citadel Guard

If they keep making cool new stuff and keep bringing back cool old stuff, I'll keep buying more and more stuff !!

- Breaking of the Fellowship
- Grey Company x2
- Haldir's Elves w/ bows x2
- Haldir's Elves w/swords x2
- Faramir Captain of Gondor
- Halbarad w/ banner

And because I live in Australia GW decided to charge me twice as much...

I am surprised they brought back Haldir's Elves of all things. I hope I get to see some this batch result on them being seen a bit more. To bad I already got all that I needed second hand a few years back.

Haldir's metal elves are a really great sculpt, though. I got the Breaking set, the Faramir I've always wanted and a blister of rangers to use as captains or for the "Rangers of Shadow Deep" game. I've always loved to field the Grey Company.

I already have a couple of boxes of the plastic Galadhrim, but the metal sculpts are great. Definitely worth snapping up.

If only the fellowship metal orcs would get the same treatment, they would need a convoy of trucks to deliver them all to me!

Had to add Kardûsh the Firecaller to my preoder of the new Battle Companies, I've always wanted to run him but the model always fetched a robbers ransom on ebay. X,D

I doubt they will ever do that unfortunately. Same with the old Thranduil. Which is a same because those two models would make great blue wizards or shame/characters for battle companies.

Could they be renamed? Sure. Will they? I don't think so. Then again, I never thought we would see the old Haldir's elves again either.
