Nice article, well layed out and explained as usual! Great painting and the highlights all over are brilliant. Oh but in the thread original post here the title is all dodgy

Totally off topic, but unless altered in the new Harad rulebook, the Hashârii weren't really Suladân's protectors. They are trying to, basically, kill him.

If the story has been altered, sorry for bringing it up. :)

Great article, I should show it to my brother, as he has been saying for about half a year: "I should repaint my Hashârin."

Nice paintjob too. :D

Great article, very well illustrated and logical progression. Beautiful painting and basing too, Mr TBB.

I have to admit however that I hate this mini. The 'dagger' is more dangerous to the wielder than to any opponent (the GW school of Ridiculous Weaponry strikes again). Plus it would be a nightmare to conceal and difficult to access in a hurry. (Rant over)

I think the model itself is well painted and the base of it is really cool, but the Chaos Black undercoat at the beginning seems rather week and many of the small detail pictures show areas where the paint is just chipping off left right and centre.....well done on the end result (it is very good) but if I were painting a figure I simply could not continue while quite a lot of small isolated areas of a figure were showing the metal peeking through.

Well done though.

Another excellent article, Bart.

The painting, the photos, the layout, all of the highest order. You really are on a roll! I recall a time when you said you weren't painting much in the way of Lord of the Rings miniatures. Well, it didn't hurt your style at all, because these miniatures are magnificent!

superbly again with so many pics which is so nice as one can follow the steps (like in those books you flicker through quickly with your thumb to see a progress). we are waiting for a video on youtube 'Bart's painting lesson' ;-)!

Really nice article, I like the scheme much better than GW's. 8)
