Recently, several of the display models from my favorite mini manufacturers have been painted with their clothes seeming to to have a texture emulating real-world fabrics. (See FW Percy and Hilda for an example.) I want to try doing this. Does anyone know a good tutorial?

it's pretty much creating your normal highlights, and making tiny tiny streaks/dots for the highlights. You can then create in between mixes between your highlights to place those same streaks to blend the colors. This will create that nice texture effect
