New battle report up on the blog, sorry it took a few days!

My goblins infested a coastal town and Boromir decided to purge it with fire!

Have a read to see how it ended up... (link is in signature)

Also, you might have noticed that we're talking about our pre-game strategy and each saying something post-game as requested in some private messages, always happy to adjust what I do to fit what you guys want to read, so feel free to make further suggestions.

Just as long as you don't mind if I choose to ignore some of them =)

Once again a great battle report. I really enjoyed reading it. Can\t wait for the next report.

By the way it really wasn`t Boromirs day.

Unsurprisingly, a great battle report! Pretty graphic with the spiders! But I suppose that just adds to the drama. :-D

I still like the buildings ;)
I have to make my own this week. I'll post pics when I have made them.

Great battle report.
I always enjoy them.
To bad I can't play myself.. there arn't any opponents :(

This is perhaps a good idea for the next game;
Fire arrows?
Normal shoot value, a -1 on your dice throw. (perhaps half the range?)
If a arrow hits, it enlights the building on a 6.

Loved the bit where Boromir gave the rousing speech and fell head-first into the water. Gave me a good chuckle.

I need to get some more gaming done! I feel the need to write up some BR's!

Great battle report, your commentary is always very entertaining. Don't worry, I always forget about terror as well.
After reading your battle reports I really feel like writing my own, though I never get around to it. I've even started to notice events that would be great in a battle report, like Gandalf jumping/retreating while two skoda cover his retreat and are slaughtered, one jumping off the cliff to avoid being trapped but only to his death.
Keep writing.

Another great battle report, simmuskhan. You really make these battles sound so realistic (and gruesome!). Loved the "Julius Caesar pinata" Can't wait for the next report!

Thanks all! Happy to share and glad to know that it's appreciated =)

Dark Lord: The ruins are my brothers, I think in the last battle report forum post he said where they're from, hang on, I'll just copy and paste it here:

The castle wall ruins on top of the hill are made by Pegasus Scenery, and come pre-painted as well! I've ordered some more packs of them, so complete ruined buildings can be made They make lots of cool pre-painted stuff, for both fantasy and science fiction. These walls are item code PEG5217. There are matching ruined castle towers, PEG5218 as well.

The large building ruins on the far sides of the board that day are by CNC Scenery, and are from a 28mm Pantheon set of building pieces. They have straight, L-section, corner, and entrance pieces, that can be arranged to form either ruins or a whole building. CNC Scenery make a range of other buildings and scenery as well.

Thanks for the nice replies =)

As for terrain stuff, the Harad terrain is all my brother's, you can message or ask him questions here:
http://paulslotrminis.blogspot.com/

He's put some stuff up for download on his blog and I'm sure if you asked he'd happily do more for you!
