Thank you very much for this. Did the first two hobbit scenarios with my brother the other night (first time I gave the gaming part of this hobby a try) and found that the dwarves had no way to win.. playing it with the full rules makes way more sense.

I hope the experience with the first two scenarios won't turn you off the game, Dionyus. There are a number of excellent scenarios out there. But the good/bad ratio in The Hobbit releases is pretty low.

I'm hopeful about the There and Back Again scenarios, though. And the LotR books have fewer losers, IMO.
