When I started to assemble the guide I wanted the miniatures to be the same size, and I also wanted that they align to a grid that makes my job easier, so I figured out a grid (that was altered later) that in size is good for hobbits, elves, men, together with the mounted versions, and also for bigger creatures, like ents, trolls etc. That led me to the case that the miniatures sometimes really small. I'm sorry for that. And because of the guide is already so big, I don't want to correct all the pages.

You mean you don't want to costumize the hugely useful resources that has taken countless hours to the whims of every member of this board. How dare you.

First off, I didn't ask him to customize anything. I wanted to know if I could enlarge the pictures. For whatever reason Miniman has chosen to "lock" the pictures so that you can't enlarge them without a password. I guess it's unreasonable to ask why?
I also wanted to know if any other readers had found some way to enlarge the photos that I was unaware of.

The guide is fantastic, but does not lend itself to a print out. And some of us older memebrs need larger pictures due to poorer eyesight.

So, perhaps you should re-read the original post and then "customize" your comments.

This is the exact quote you started your message with . . . now you want me to customize my posts to match your whims and desires so as not to have hurt feelings. It wasn't just you that my sarcastic remark was aimed at, if you go a little farther back there are other such requests. I was just pointing out the irony of the amount of time that miniman has spent on the piece and the response from some with hands-out wanting more. No offense was intended, but if you feel embarressed after reading my post, perhaps it hit home. Regardless, its all I'll say on the matter; if you wish to coninue the discussion PM me.

"Is there any way that you can enlarge the pictures for printing?"

Ahhh see where you took it wrong. I meant the collective YOU not the prsonalized you (meaning miniman). The YOU was meant to target the readers of this forum. Perhaps one of the readers had a method of enlarging the phots and as willing to share it. I was a plea for guidance from those more knowledgeable than I. Perhaps a difference between English and American is to blame.

I guess I should have phrased it " is there a way that I can resize the photos." I certainly did not expect him (Minimna) to do it.
I don't understand why he (miniman) has the photos password protected.
After all he didn't take the pictures, GW did. So why the need for a password?
Perhap a poor choice of grammar, but certainly nothing to be embarassed about. Forums are supposed to be about asking questions and looking for answers. And, I guess for certain persons to misinterpet what you are trying to point out and wax poetic about it.

Excellent source

Love scanning through this on a rainy day :)

I did come across something that you may wish to add.

I believe there are two variations of the Uruk-Hai Engineer Captain.

In your guide you have pose 1 (casual finger pointing?):

Image

But your guide is missing pose 2 (aggressive finger pointing?):

Same could be said about the the uruk carrying the massive bolt (one has his knee bent and in another variation the knees are not bent)

I'm 90% positive that these are two different casts and not simply optional limb placements, could be wrong though.

Minor quibbles, but this is the ultimate LOTR SBG collectors guide so …

Oh dear, it does look like the Captain and the bolt carrier are different sculpts. I hadn't noticed before. I now need to look through my ballista box sets to see if I have the two different variants. Grrrrrr otherwise another two models to add to my wants list..........

Thanks to Armandhammer, who found the different scuplts, here is a picture about what I've found:

So, the Engineer Captain or Spotter, and the Bolt Loader sculpts are different.
Please help me! Are there different sculpts for the Winch Operator too?

Anyone know what releases the newly discovered sculpts were in?

Looking great, I’m glad I could help :)

Not sure about the winch operator though.

Heck, I don’t think I have ever stumbled across a candid picture of Uruk spotter 1. The two sources that I know of that feature this model is the GW website and the sourcebook.

I myself have the Uruk spotter 2 … I've seen countless pictures of it in collections/on the web unlike pose 1.

It would be super awesome if someone could post a pic of all 5(6?) crew member sculpts.

*coughs* IsleStaggerholm *coughs*

I'm crossing my fingers hoping these aren't ultra rare unreleased minis :o
