i was thinking about starting an elf army and when looking at the heroes on the GW website i noticed that they had models for Haldir and Rumil but not one for their brother Orophin why is this

Don't know. I had the same question about Men of Dale--why release completely made-up stuff when Men of Dale need to be released? My guess is they might release Orophin sometime in the future, along with an Elven Catapult, etc. Just my guess 8)
