I was wondering if anyone knows about any good looking Arnor armies.

I'm soon enough beginning to paint my arnor warriors but I first want to think of a good color palette since I'm not so fond of the green+silver combination.

I'm thinking of teal, lightblue, grey... But maybe there's more inspiring stuff out there.

I don't recommend grey. That colour combined with silver armour makes for a flat looking mini. I suggest white or bleached bone with gold trim.

Well, I don't know if I'm going to use silver for their armor. I could also make it a bit more brown/bronze, or goldish.

Bleached Bone with Gold seems like a good combination.

But I'm more looking for some inspiration from great pictures. You got none? ;)

I did use bleached bone and gold on my Numenorians. It looks great. I actually read "goldfish", not goldish above. The bottom picture is more true to colour, the top one is greenish. I think I have paint formulae from this adventure, if you're interested.

Edit: Hey! I finally figured out this picture thing!

Thanks for the help guys!

I'm just a bit stuck on the armor itself. I'm never very fond of such a big part of plain silver on their chests... But I guess this is just the way it's supposed to be.

Have a look at the pictures from this Skyrim armor retexture mod.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79014/?

I think the color scheme could work with the arnor models. Particularly, the king and captains.

I decided to go with a silver/gold/blue scheme. Not royal blue but more of a blue colour leaning towards teal. I believe the colour is called 'Stegadon Scale Green' or something...

I've painted one Arnor Warrior in base colours + wash now. Once I've made him a good base and added highlights I'll show the result of it. I'm quite happy overall. :)
