Post subject:  Why GW uses the crow as a symbol for the dwarf banners?

Is there any reference in the books? I am converting a model to a bannerman and I try to find what I should free hand in the banner.

It's not a crow, it's a raven. The Ravens of Erebor were able to speak and were the symbol of the Lonely Mountain.
