| Post subject: | Captains of Erebor? |
Hey all, I'm deciding to expand my Army of Thror and needing some generic Captains. Of the two "Fine"cast Captains, I much preferred the Captain of Erebor but he is no longer in production. One idea I had was to convert the Kili, Champion of Erebor model but he is much too slight compared to the rest of the Dwarf plastics. The other Champions of Erebor don't have similar armour to the Warriors of Erebor and Grimhammers. Should I try a couple of Grimhammer Captains with arm/ head/ torso swaps? |

DC hobbit League recently unearthed a treasure trove of old GW WD articles and have posted them to their website. May I direct your attention to the final page of "Warhosts Showcase?" There is a nicely converted Balin there that might be just the inspiration you need. Also, an hour of wolves and shattered shields is a fan website with some great conversions. |
