Hi all

Quick intro, completely new to the game but a long time Tolkien reader and 30+ years of gaming (RPG's/wargames/Boardgames).

I recently picked up the rulebook and the LOTR lists book plus enough to get me going for Isengard, Minas Tirith, Rohan and Mordor plus the Fellowship, ( I was lucky in that a friend was selling off a load of surplus stuff still boxed and very cheap)

I have played Legends of the Old West previously and can see the similarities with the mechanics so hopefully wont be asking to many rules questions, though i do have one or two already that I might have to ask here, should they be posted in the beginners forum, or the Official rules questions forum?

Hey! Welcome to the forum and the hobby. You can post in either forum for now if the questions are on general rules. If the question is more technical, then the official rules questions would be best.
