Im getting back to my lotr because my 40k Ork army is complete.
I want to start with a new army and have piked Gondor.
Me and my 5 mates mostly play SBG and id lyk some advice on a army that would be affective against Elves ,Uruk hai and goblins.
I dont care how much it will cost but can i please have some feedback in the way of a good fighting force around the size of 1500 points.

Thank you

Any army ideas will be awsome.

Well as you said "piked" Gondor that means you should get Man at Arms of Dol Amroth as they are the only piked models available to Gondor.

Also I would juggest Geting Imrahil on horse as a major captain along with two semi herose like Forlong the Fat and Angbor the Fearless, with mounted SKODAs, Axemen of Lossornach and Clansmen of Lamedon.

Although getting around 1500 pts full army with those miniatues would cost you a fortune....

Ok, here's my advice for a 1500pts Gondor army:

Get one powerful hero, either Boromir or Aragorn.
Get another decent hero, such as Faramir or Prince Imrahil.
And get one cheaper hero, such as Cirion or Forlong the Fat.
Get a good core of Warriors of Minas Tirith, perhaps 24 with shields and 24 with spear and shields.
Get some archers, the 24 Warriors of Minas Tirith with bow would be easiest as you would have them anyways, but you could get Rangers instead.
Get some cavalry, around a dozen.
Get some elites, about a dozen again, such as Citadel Guard, Clanmen of Lamedon, etc.
You should now have enough points left to adapt your army to whatever you need it to do, maybe get another hero, a siege engine, etc.
