Hi everyone, I'm having some problems deciding how to play with a minas tirith army. In general my experience is that armies of men are slightly weak and lack some real "punch" compared to Isengard or dwarves for example. So I usually use my gondorians as allies for other armies. This beeing said, I love the look of the gondorian soldiery, and would like to be able to play competitive games with an army made up entirely by Warriors form the minas tirith army list. (I have plenty of every troop-type+ all heroes)
Hope you guys give me some advice. If any of you have been fairly succesfull with this army, please share Your experience and/or armylists.

Thank you!

I was playing around with lonelyknight's army builder just the other day. I think this is what I came up with:

Warband 1:
Faramir mounted with heavy armor
Knight with banner
Knights x5

Warband 2:
Damrod
Rangers of gondor x12

Warband 3:
Beregond
Osgiliath vets with shields x6
Osgiliath vets with spears x6

Warband 4:
Captain with shield
Osgiliath vets with shields x6
Osgiliath vets with spears x6

Alternatively, you can use warriors in place of osgiliath veterans, and save points for shields for the knights, or you could use mounted citadel guard in place of those knights.

I call that my white company list. Never used it though.
