Any way to make a pure galadhrim list competitive at 500 or 600 points. I have a lot of haldir´s elves with swords and bows...but see no real use for them...sad as it is. |

you can make a list of these guys easy enough, for the lothlorien rulebook has legolas and a version of thranduil in the faction so you could use those but if you want to go genuinely pure and futureproof for when they arent in that faction list anymore you could leave them out, just today i put together a 500 point list for lothlorien that i want to try but it includes some wood elves in it, can post it here it you want, im sure you can tweek it to swap the wood elves archer warband i have to put in haldirs elves and as for the swordsmen they definitely have a place, just try get in a few galadhrim spears somehwere and add a captain or something, out of curiousity what hve you to start you list, number wise i mean with the warriors |

Here's a quick and easy 600 point pure Lothlorien list that would be very competitive, and would also incorporate a good chuck of the Haldir's Elves that you mentioned you acquired..... Galadriel (LOTR version) 5 Galadhrim with Spear & Shield 6 Galadhrim with Elven blades (Haldir's Elves with blades) Rumil 6 Galadhrim with Spear & Shield 5 Galadhrim with Elven blades (Haldir's Elves with blades) Haldir 11 Galadhrim with Elven Bow (Haldir's Elves with bows) 36 Models, 9 Might, 11 bows plus Haldir's 2 shots per turn. Strong magic. F5 everywhere. |

Somebody on here has done some pretty cool conversions of Haldir's Elves into spearmen with shields. I'm going to try that myself I think, since I love the models and the Galadhrim are... not incredible... |
