Are all the buildings going to have elaborate frontages like that one? Oh boy...

I really hope you don't forget to make a big safety box to ship it safely to my home when it's my birthday...

It looks so awesome Alan, so very awesome. I have no idea at all what else to say, it's just shutting up my mouth...

@John, yes, they will be movable, so that they can either float downstream or polled into position by units.

@Dorth, all the buildings will have the same degree of detail as that one - because I will only have time to do that one.

It's been a while since I updated this - I have been working feverously on this table for months, trying to get it finished in time for a convention in Melbourne on the 25th of May...

CRIKEY!!! THAT"S THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!!

Good job I've finished it eh?

Here's a shot of it just before I finished off the painting and adding a few final touches (a door and some windows in the building). I had to take a photo before it was finished because the light was fading as the sun went down.

Anyway, I'm off on a road trip tomorrow with the table loaded in the back of the car. I'll post some pics after I get home.

Wow ! I thought that that was a picture of a Bridge somewhere , btu when I read the text with it and look at the picture more closely I noticed it was the terrain Board ... Blimey that looks realistic!

Truly impressive work, as everyone has said, Dagorlad! It's amazing, the effects of such inspiring terrain on the whole mindset of a game -- it becomes so much more engaging than when fighting over a colored cloth on a tabletop. :)

Truly amazing ! As I already said, the colouration does it for me, not only on the stonework, but the woodwork too, and then finished off wioth perfect contrast with the building in background !

The water looks fantastic but moreso realistic in colour. The drain is a nice piece of detail and looks awesome, but one piece of detail around the water really shows your brilliance, and that is the watermark around the stonework, showing the staining of water levels rising and fallen...very nice touch Alan !
