Yep, he's from the Witcher - a brilliant game btw. The armour isn't near done yet, as is most of the mini, I'll be working at it again tonight.

STUNNING work Patrick! Brilliant looking mini :yay:

The only issue I have is that both the hair and face are very light/bleached (the face doesn't seem to have much shading) and they don't seem to look right next to each other, though it might just be me! :oops:

The face and hair are supposed to be pigmentless (Due to the witcher mutagens) so thats the look I intended him to have. This is the way he appears in the game. I did a Devlan Mud load of shading on the face though, and it took me ages, but it doesn't really display in the pic because there (like you said) is such contrast between that and the rest of the mini in general.

Cheers for the replies once again.

@Raukov:

It was a strange mix I used, as I needed both neutral colours as well as a bit of warmth in the depths. I believe it went like this:

White base - 30/5/65 Elf Flesh/Regal Blue/Skull White (Very tiny amount of blue) - very thin Baal Red glazes for shading - highlights using original mix with increasing amounts of SW.

Thats the main jist if I remember correctly. There may have been grey added though I'm not sure. :oops:

There's why I never mix paints, I'm affraid of making an awsome shade, and then being unable to repeat it!

I did try to write down some shades I tried to mix, but none of them turned out any good... Then I made a shade the day after that, without writing it down, and of course that single Rohan Warrior just happened to look a bit better than all the others... At least on the spots I had enough of the mix to pain on... *shrugs*

Good luck, I hope they sell. 8) Although, in my opinion, any collector foolish enough not to bid on them shouldn't be called a collector.....
