Very interesting piece. Wonder what rules it would have in a battle report.

I smell the Lucas arts Labyrinth classic here... the hands leading to the oubliette, and the da vinci drawing of the stair room. I bloody love it. keep up the good work

I put a tea candle in a D&D miniature. I had to cut a block from a cocktail fork to make the switch work. The base was clear plastic and orange hot glue.

I started a bridge and great hall. I might open a new thread for it.

The gothic arch is too small. I will use the field stone bridge arch.

I will build a frame and cut out the gap for the bridge as I finish up the light box for Moria

You have made a lot of scenery projects here. The trees remind me of Wizard of Oz, put a rusted up tin woodsman in there and you are all set for sure.
I like the D&D feel to your dungeon work. Moria looks awesome too.

The tower at the end with the huge stone steps is pretty cool.

Truly inspirational work Charlie. Your attention to detail and sheer volume of work makes me very jealous.

Thanks.

I have been having a great deal of trouble maintaining my enthusiasm for GW related projects. I do not use GW paint. Hard to comment beyond "That looks nice."
I am going to Gen Con next week.I will have an opportunity to meet up with my out of state friends and meet in person some of my online friends. I should return with a bit more enthusiasm for something new.

Don't be jealous. You will retire before you know it. "Be careful out there"

One of my online friends made the hands I just made the mold. I am having a lot of fun creating the other sections.

I am racing to keep ahead of the role play group after convincing them to go 3D

It's been ages since i caught up with your WIP. Truly inspirational work here, as always.

I know what you mean about GW related projects- to be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that they have a middle earth licence I would have nothing to do with them. I still have about 25 pots of GW paint, but when it runs out i generally replace it with a Valejo equivalent. The only thing GW has to offer me is the chance of some cool new releases come December, and the fact that if I need a particular colour urgently I can pop in on my way back from work and get it.

Don't know how it is in the States, but over here you need to wear a sign saying "I'm over the age of 16, and would just like to be left alone to find what I want" in large letters around your neck. They can irritate for England.

There is only one GW store in my state. The manager has known me longer than he has worked for GW.The GW store is by far the smallest understaffed shop in the city. It is a total waste of time.Everyone else has more stock and a better selection. I did not mention better terrain and more room.

They only make one good one, and not for long I fear! :D

Interesting perspective. Is the poor GW manager guy allowed to come and play with the big boys? :D!

There are so many good games out there, GW were left behind a long time ago. But I live in the middle of London, and the shop rent is way too expensive to support lots of independent retailers. Particularly not ones with lots of gaming room! Jelous!
