There is an article over on the Last Alliance about using the Dipping method , you'd might want to check that one out as well. Tell you what to use , so you can experiment with it.

Also , my exams haven't near started yet

I used a Polish-English translator on the web to get the main ideas of the article. One word that didn't come through the translation engine is "bejcy". Can you tell us what that word is in English?

If I read the translated tutorial correctly, you mixed the varnish with somehting else and that was also lost in the translation. Can you help shed the light on that too??

Anyway, thanks again for the inspriation!

Instead of Viruk, maybe I'll help you BrentS ;)

It's declension of a word 'bejca' which means 'wood stain'. Polish language is a bit complicated :/

And there's nothing added to varnish, It's standard GW Purity Seal in spray.

Wow, almost two years since my last update in this thread :? I've been quite active hobbywise but neglected to post any uptates here.

I'm working on some Harad minis now. Here's how they look at the moment:

Not to copy everything I've already written about them, you can check out my blog (link in the signature under this post).

Cheers and Happy Easter everyone ;)

I think I'll do more than regular mass painting with these minis. I really like them and when I like the minis I paint I'm motivated to paint them better. I'll probably go with the regular red, purple and blue scheme, possibly some NMM on the banner too.

Here's something that I'm working on right now - a converted (I basically only added wings and slightly changed his pose) Daemon Prince.

Probably should be in the Non-LOTR section, unless it's your interpretation of Gulavhar...

Nice conversion anyway - great base! 8)

I thought that anything goes in the WIP section. If I'm mistaken than I kindly ask the moderators to move my thread to the proper section of the forum :)

Anyway, thanks for the comment. I've just started painting this "mini" and I'm alread having a blast.

The Daemon is ready and pics can be found here.

I've also started working on the Cryx starter, no painting done so far but here's how it looks like at the moment anyway.

Looks very nice, clean and well painted but I think it's a little to clean for a deamon prince but that's my opinion. :yay: :yay: keep up the work.
