Hmm, yes i've heard from a quite a lot people that the combat is not what they expected. :(

The combat for me is terrible. All you can do is take a massive swing at them. Doesn't flow at all.

Picked this up yesterday, seeing as it was reduced at work.

Hmmmmm.

Blazed through the first campign no problems, seems all you need to do is rapidly hammer the buttons and it's a win...

...until you get knocked down.

Terrible, terrible game. The only time I've had fun in this is during multiplayer...

and the capture the ring mode is like a rugby match!

to my opinion this game needed help. the game sucked so much compaired to other games on the market. the game has so many bugs and is only 25 frames per sec. that horrible. the game play sucks so much and every one uses mages. the games rating were in the 50%. i felt like i just through 50 bucks down the drain.

ok, i was thinking about buying it, but now i'm sure i wont :) any recommendations about other good lotr games? (preferably for the pc). i already have bfmeII.

If you're looking for an MMO, go for Lord of the Rings Online.
I play it, and I usually HATE MMOs. But this one is very true to the LoTR books and is very different from most of the MMOs out there. Of course, if it's not your thing, then it's not your thing.

yeah thats a great idea
lotro is a great game and its worth the money. the game updates alot so there will always be something new. i still play it and i dont get bord. i recomend lotro or fall out because i cant stop playing that game :shock:
