hi there.
iIstarted my wip a little late but you can see the most of my painted figures on my gallery :)
Right now I'm painting some Uruk-rangers (don't know how they're called) :-D
i've always been saying "yeah i'll do them later..." but now i recognized: I've got to paint them.now.immediatly. :-D so here they come...

I've already painted one, so i can see how to do it the best way.
after that, i've painted the big armour parts, the leather from the helmets and gave a few uruks some shirts.:-D
meet ranger#1:

meet the rest:

pertty much in the middle of my basecoating i recognized that there was one archer mssing...i've been searching for hours as i found him.with a broken bow. "doh!" :-X
as i was thinking how i could glue him nicely i had an idea. I've seen some axe-throwers of rohan last time i was painting together with my buddie.
then there was the idea an 'uruk-axe-thrower'.

then i saw his arrows...i cut them out and glued the axe onto/into it here he is:

i'll post the process of my army tomorrow
ratings and comments are welcome

I've always loved the Scout Uruk-hai miniatures. They just look better to me than the fully-armoured versions. I look forward to seeing these guys when they're finished.

@MRFortunato: If you mean the whole group, i have to disappoint you :) they arent even finidhed yet...the metal part have to be done with tin bitz and highlightet, and the clothes have to be finished first ... ill upload new pictures today...better ones because when i took the first ones, it was night over here :-D
@Erunion:I like them ,too. but they're much more work then the fighting ones ;)

@all: any more tips&tricks or helpfull advices?
