Your pictures really do your models justice!

Beautiful paint schemes, I really like the colours you chose for each model.

And it's clear you put a lot of work into your bases!

I really like how vibrant your painting is! Mounted Glorfindel is amazing, from the horse to the tack to him to his cloaks. The armoured version, I like the free hand. Like the browns on the ranger. Excellent work!

I sincerely thank you for all your feedback and for your time.
As I try to persuade most of the members, here in Greece, of the Hellenic community of LotR, it's a true pleasance to produce finely made armies and have them on a battlefield instead of grey and silver bundles of minis.
I'd like to add that it's not talent, what it takes to achieve good results, is only time and patience.

So, without further meaningless blah...blah...

The rest of my rangers, 8 from them coming the plastic sprue, plus the 2 from the Black Root vale archers command blister.
The latter were the last to be painted, during last December.
All painted in blacks and reds, so as to become the appropriate company for Boromir, while defending in an "urban" environment, Osgiliath.
Boromir is added in one of the pictures, as a proof of WiP, far from finishing, although i'm very satisfied with his face.

This small force is led by Boromir and aided by some war-torn veterans.
Unfortunately, at the time of photo-shooting, I couldn't have them all with me, so another time, I'll be adding photos of 10-12 differently converted veterans.

Wow. This is amazing! :yay: An brilliant standard maintained throughout and I love those Veterans conversions - very clever! If you don't mind me asking, how did you paint the armour on these guys?

The colour scheme on the Rangers is also very effective and ties in perfectly with Boromir.

Brilliant work! :)

They look great! Where'd you get the heads for the converted Veterans?

Quite easily, actually.
several washes with citadel shades and army painter quickshades (greens, sepia and blacks) in between the layers of boltgun metal, chainmail and mithril silver. Sorry, but i can't remember exactly; i'ts been some years that these models were finished.

Two are from the BGiME conversion sprue and one is a green-stuffed (for the hair-do) from a spare Elrond miniature.

That's a nice idea for the bloodied head bandage. I think it's a touch pink, a little dark brown to the red will help it look like dried blood.

These are some of the best painted figures I've ever seen

And the conversions are just perfect too, :yay:

Amazing!
You got talent, that's for sure.

I really like the backs of the shields, I should really paint my WoMT's shields in a similar way...
