Hi everyone,

I'm new on the forum but i was always interested in painting Lotr/Hobbit miniatures. Few months ago my friends encourage me to paint for them some miniatures/ When i do this i realise that painting for others give me more satisfaction and motivation.

As i dont have many progress pictures i will post some done work. I will put some progress as soon as i start doing new projects/commissions.

Firstly im presenting my last work - Radagast with Sebastian.
Hope you would like it.

Beautiful work! The blends and shading are excellent, and you've matched the GW colors very nicely. You have a good eye for detail.

I haven't painted any of the new Radagast models, but I'm debating whether or not I want to include the bird droppings or not. It was the one aspect of Peter Jackson's interpretation that I really didn't care for.

Hello dear friends,
firstly i would like to thank you for your positive feedback. Im afraid this is my top skill (for now). However i see few cons on that paint job.

Pictures not always show how miniature look like, so from time to time i make 360 view of my work on YT.

Hope you would like it. Soon i place some older dids.

Great Radagast. The differentiation in the browns is very well done.

Awesome! I have a Captain and three Spearmen sitting in my backlog. Need to pick up three more spearmen and 6 Swordsmen.

These are some of the best painted Gundabad Orcs I've seen.

Excellent work! My favorites are the Gundabad orcs. Those are, in my opinion, some of the best sculpts from the Hobbit range, and you did a very good job with them. The red armor on the captain looks a little Warhammerish, but I love it anyway. I might have to try it when I get a chance.
Nice work on those pumpkins too :)

Fantastic idea and painting! Spooky spooky Halloween :-D

The gundabad orc and Frodo are my favourites - just excellent!

Relating to the 2 gundabad orc-chieftains:

I don't like the red armour ... it is completely against my vision of orcs. To me they are like dirty, foul smelling rats and not warriors with shiny red armor ...
But the painting is done extremely good! Just the combination with an orc not ...

Greetings
Advario

Hello dear friends,
thx for your comments. As for the "red captain" i was inspired by concept art straight from WETA, i make him more flamboyant for easy recognition on table:) So there was no intention to make him look canonical. I like so much those concepts and think in future i will try to make some conversions may be.

As for the Halloween i think it is very funny and interesting to make some special event conversions it gives some live to this hobby.

Below you can find my last work some Mirkwood elves.

Lovely gold work on those elves.

Any chance on a quick tutorial and run down on the armour? :)
