Really cool mate! What are you planning to do next? Also, how did you layer the armor colors? It looks very realistic but my always comes out to golden I think.

They look very nice, bravo!
The whole look is very clean and sharp, very realistic, and this isn't easy to achieve with gold armour!
It's a shame that these models are OOP, they look much better than the plastic ones my opinion.
Good work, please continue.

Somehow I missed these before! I really like the shadowy cloaks, and the conversions all work really well, too.

Taking a break from the Galadhrim and starting a new Rivendell army.

It has taken a lot of failed attempts to get the armour scheme but finally have a couple of trial models finished!

Armour:
Base - 50:50 Leadbelcher and Runelord Brass
Highlight - 33:33:33 Leadbelcher, Runelord Brass and Ghenna's Gold
Wash - 3:1 Nuln Oil and Biel Tan Green
Highlight - Auric Armour
Edge Highlight - Runefang Steel n.b. Very sparing highlight, I essentially dry brushed some of the very edge elements of the armour

My galadhrim were a blast to paint, I hope you enjoyed yours! The old high elves look great. I have to re-do mine, I did them for quickly for WoTR and they look rather sloppy.

Those High Elves look awesome! Thanks for the painting tips as well. I haven't done gold armoured High Elves in ages and couldn't figure which of the new paints would give me a nice yellow gold.

Galadhrim pictured earlier in thread:

Armour

Layer - Auric Armour (two thin coats works best)
Highlight - Liberator Gold
Highlight - 50:50 mix Liberator Gold and Runefang Silver. (More sparing than the first highlight, very edge elements of the armour to bring them out)
Wash - 4:1 Nuln Oil and Biel Tan Green (be generous here)
