Fantastic work. Those spearmen are superb and you've done a great job painting them. The use of that Captain model (which is one of my favourite in the LotR range) is just the icing on the cake! |

Started the next batch. Rumil and 6 Guards of The Galadhrim Court. Have done the Mail, Cloaks, and am part way through the armour. Painting these guys to the same scheme as the Haldir’s Elves. The finecast ones were a nightmare to sort as the pikes were bent and needed to be straightened but the metal ones are fantastic. Will use them for a sprinkling of F6 in my army when they are done! |

Yeah those finecast spears are such a pain lol... Looking really good! I especially like how the helmet plumes turned out, and you did a great job on the shield detailing. |

Think I’ve worked it out now. Have converted 6 Haldir’s Elves to have shields and single handed blades. Also spent some time on Beregrond and Denethor.

Good to see you've figured out how to link pics from a third party host using The IMG function. The attachment function is for other file types and was never intended for photos |

Have completed the converted Haldir’s Elves and Stormcaller. Reasonably happy with these, much prefer them to the plastic Galadhrim!

Next batch up. 6 Haldir’s elves w/bows + spears and a converted Captain. I’ve replaced the bow for a shield, removed the quiver and swapped the outstretched hand for a shortened Elven blade.

The captain conversion is awesome and I can't wait to see some paint on it. My only quibble is that you had to put shields to cover the details of the lovely metal Galadhrim! |
