Might be the coolest color schemes I've seen for both of these armies!

While it nice painting things as seen in the movies, it is just as cool to see someone come up with a totally new paint scheme like you have here. The army of the dead minis look especially fierce with the way you've painted their heads!

Thanks for the positive feedback!
draked despite im painting both armies just for display and gaming in home i'm trying to do something different from GW and film colour schemes.

Kuribo army of the dead warriors were my test models for OSL and i think it come out pretty cool too :D

I've recently got new commision - Treebeard with Merry and Pippin, Gil-Galad, Harad command group, some minis from Umbar, Eorl ft and mtd, Easterling captain and Imrahil ft & mtd.

Treebeard is finished, as well as Knight of Umbar.
Im happy how mtd Knight's sword is looking, my first attempt to mix true metalics with pure white and black.

Incredible paintjob!! Especially the Nazgûl looks formidable, because I find painting realistic black really hard and you did a really good job. I look forward to the next painted figures.

I agree with Advario that the wraiths look fantastic. Really smooth paint job on them! I also really like Treebeard as he looks different from GW's version but still close to Peter Jackson's vision. You may want to put some deeper shadows in his beard, especially in the bottom half to increase the contrast but it looks great even if you leave as it is :yay:

The faces look great. I love how you got the eyes on Gil-Galad to have that stern, piercing look.

Hi again.
My lastest work is the Chaos Lord on manticore from Warhammer AOS. After doing photos i've realized that the beast needs more work than i previously thought xD

Early WIP on the shield along with bad idea on the center side of it.

This all looks pretty good to me, Paul. Painting Chaos stuff can help with painting Orcs in LOTR too, I would think. Keep the updates coming :)

I'm currently working on the Theoden from battle of Pelennor fields. Gold and silver NMM.
Here are the results:

Looks great. For the NMM, perhaps bring in the mid-tones more a little bit. Contrast is critical for NMM, but you still need the mid-tones for it to look more like metal.
