Time to rise! Here's something I have on my workdesk right now. Thrór and Thraín are still wip, Thrór a bit more. I tried also to paint Thraín's forehead tattoo, though because of the bad quality of the photo it's hard to see.

Also as you can see I decided to start basing in the middle of the painting. :-D The bases look a bit weird as they have a watered down PVA glue on as the rocks started to fall off. The bases will be presenting a rocky terrain (and they shall look boring) as I'm going to play the Battle of Azalnubizar soon.

Yeah me too. It has so many little details that it took me a lot of time and attempts to make him look decent. But most of the time went on his beard. It has those little straps and lots of details too. I tried it three times and still not satisfied. When can we see your Thrór?

I've not based him yet, jumped straight onto champions of erebor and will base them all at the end.

Looking forward to seeing them!

I'm also hunting down the champions of Erebor but it seems impossible to find them anywhere from Finland. Same goes to young Balin.

Terrain is a cool colour. I like it a lot. Is that what colour the ground is in Finland?

Well yes. Basically I just wanted a little change to my normal gray rocks. And thank you! Maybe a couple of more cliffs until the next match!
