This game lost its creators support (first Hasbro, then wizards on the coast) a long time ago about 5 years maybe.

The game still lives on through the community and forums the main website is Heroscapers. This is the first game that got me into war gaming and miniatures. It had a fantastic build your own battlefield system that was amazing and super fun. Seriously you could spend hours just making cool battlefields without playing a game.

Although the figures were prepainted I painted over a few to bring out more details on them. But the main thing I did was make lots of scenery, trees, bridges, ruins, walls.

The game system was really nice and simple although there was bit of an balancing issue.

The community is continuing making new releases through the use of other miniatures. They choose a common toy or miniature, make a profile and play test a lot then release once they are good enough.

These guys are a fantastic example of community continuing the game.

Although unfortunately I left the game because of lack of opponents and struggle to get the product in NZ.

Yeah, we got a ton of stuff when it was being sold of cheap, it is a really good game. The main problem is that you have to spend ages assembling the table.
