A few friends and I will be putting on BOFA at a US convention in a month or so, Cold Wars. We are running a 15mm scale mass battle version of BOFA using home grown rules we have been kicking around for a few years.

I've started building the battle table.

Will you be featuring any ruins of Dale in this battlefield? I have a great feeling you could pull off something spectacular with some minor conversions of the Osgiliath scenery kit and some snow effects! :) Looking forward to seeing the end result, and the construction process! 8)

We will have a section of Dale on the end of the board. Since we are doing the battle in 15mm with hundreds of figures on each side, Those ruins would not work. One of the guys is working on scratch building Dale.

But thanks for the suggestions on the snow. Forgot about that.
