Exactly.

I didn't think that was the case seeing as you seem to be single-handedly bankrolling the entire Swedish Postal Service with the amount of trading you do...

Shut up.

But, you do have a point, but I don't pay all of the shipping. Plus, I would have donated if I had PayPal, and when I get it, I will.

Now, we can get back on topic. :-D

i would have been happy to enter in the beginner category if I had the figs. I think it should be that any figure is allowed.

You can enter with ANY (LOTR) figures, 25-28mm scale.

The countdown is at the top of the page, you can submit your entries when it ends I believe, so you have about 3 months to work on your entries :)

I thought we had to enter a mini from the selected chapters?

@Eorltheyoung - That is only for the master craftsman category I believe, the rest of the categories can be any LOTR mini in the 25-28 mm range as Anduril pointed out.

Oh ok. Can I enter this coming contest?

If you can make something in time, I see no reason why not. THough if you want to enter the beginners category there is a special registration step that you must go through. However I am not an authority on these things, but as I said i see no reason why not as long as you can finish whatever it is you are entering before the time expires.

Whats the "special registration step"?

The Rules says "Entry in this competition [beginner] category is for beginners only and so people who wish to participate must first be approved by the Competition Committee before they can submit an entry. To do this, the member must click on the beginners approval link, made available for the the current competition, and submit a photograph of their work along with a request to enter the competition with a beginner status. "

Thus that is the only extra step i believe.

There is plenty of time. Everyone can still participate. The Awards didn't even started. :P Check the countdown on the top banner.

Any member that wants to enter the Beginner Category will have to register first (check the link on the side menu). This is a previous step that will start a couple of weeks before the competition and it is a way of garantee that members are actual beginners. The period for this step will have plenty of advertisement, so dont worry about not noticing it. Also, if you try to enter the this category, you will be 'forced' by the system to do this step anyway I think.

If you are not planning to enter the Beginner Category, you dont have to worry with this step.

This thread was sort of a poll that Dag run a while ago to get some feedback about the last Awards we run. Its not the best place for this sort of questions.

Discussion about the current set of rules can be followed in:
