May I enquire when the next OR awards are??? Just so it gives me something to aim for, you know.

Also, what does kudos mean? Mustn't be much of a word here in NZ.

Entries will be accepted for the next One Ring Awards from the 1st of July, right up until the 31st of July, then voting will continue through August. The Awards are run every three months, so you all have plenty of time to get an entry ready!

And we will be running a separate competition this month too with a rare blister pack as the prize - more details soon!

Don't forget that winners of any Beginners category will have to take part in the Open category next time ;-)

Silly question, but I take that to mean 1st place winners, right?
I don't fancy having to enter the Open catagory against the likes of menace and tidocco... not yet at least :)

I have a Word Document, with my plans - I have an entry lined up for every category except House rules - all in Beginners... That says something I think :P

Thanks to everyone who took part! What a competition it was, very nice to see how close some of the races were (and deservedly so!). While entries were still being accepted my favourite thing to do every day is check the entries and I look forward to another round!

Congrats to Curunir as well. I can't imagine a person more deserving of such an award; indeed Curunir is an incredible meber of this community! Inspiring to say the least.

Thanks to all who supported my stuff as well, it is greatly appreciated. Also, thanks to the One Ring and all its staff for taking the time to put on these wonderful contests... They really inspire community members to actually put stuff together! Finally, thanks to all those members (i.e. every member) who inspired me with their stuff... There is no better way to get creative juices flowing than to see some neat stuff in articles and in people's galleries.

A friendly question from the committee:

Are there things you would like to see changed towards further competitions? Altough we like any kind of feedback and input, please try to keep it simple this time. Excellent, brand new ideas are always welcome but at the moment we are looking for small adaptions, things that weren't clear. Small changes, rules adaptions, information, catgories, etc. things like that!

You can post your comments here or PM them to the committee members.
