Ok silly me. I should have known that i couldn't resist! It's morgoth's evil painting desire!
work in progress one:

finished result (2sides, 2time same side but with difference in darkness - all photo's are with flash but i got the feeling it can really make the same picture look differently!):

The result is quite simple i guess. But it turned out much better then i thought.
I am looking forward to the stunning things u guys will post!

I love that warg garmenhord! Excellent sculpting and painting. I especially like how the eyes and claws stand out.

I've had this old wolfy thing (Ral Partha Greater Wolfwere) in my minis box for ages, let's see if I can make something out of it...

Only 8 more days and this contest will be over... So far only garmenhord has posted a finished piece... Will Ares B be able to finish in time for it to be a real contest?

I would love to take part as I have the model but sadly I cannot find the head. It is in one of my spares boxes somewhere. Just where though is a mystery. Maybe the shadow goblins took it.....

That's a reason too for not taking part....
Some people don't have money to buy model in time...
Some don't want to spent their money...
Some don't fidn the pieces and some have already them painted...
Anyway...
Oh Morgoncrown it wasn't shadow goblins who took your head... it was me or if you think i am lying... you are right :-D
I think the Nine took it...

I don't have any Warg models to complete, or I would be in there. I'm trying to whittle down my backlog before buying any more. It looks like I'll have something that I could enter for next month, though.

first time i was able to enter.. for the reasons Hilbert said..
Also got lots and lots of uruk hai warriors to paint... Comic and paper are still time consumers for now; I think otherwise it would be great to revive that paint an army thingie.. I think it hasn't had lots activity.. lately..; Or i missed it all out ..

I found my Gothmog on warg but yes, the nine have taken it! Or maybe Beorn has nailed it to his fence! Plus I have been having a bad week painting. I have trashed a frodo diorama by accident, broke a few Uruks and have injured my thumb painting (holding brush too tight has caused the nail to break away at the edge of my thumb).

Thanks! All that drybrushing of fur is bad for the brush, but little by little it becomes nice.

EDIT: More 'brushing won't do any good, I think I'll just dip it and then it's done. The base isn't quite in LotR dimensions, should I put it on an official one?

You don't need to put it on an official base to be an elligible entry but if you want to, go for it :)
