Oi.. wanted to take part here too... but what's the use of that now? BillFerny already won, at least in my opinion ^^

Wow, very nice, BillFerny! :yay:
I was thinking about participating as well, but I found out I had ran out of black paint... I did order a new bottle but I fear it won't arrive in time... :-X
Oh well. I think I'll save that Glorfindel figure for a future painting challenge.

Fabulous Glorfindel, Bill!

Here is my final entry. Elladan, I think, but could be Elrohir as well... :-)

Image

I didn't have time to finish him, I would have liked to paint some decorations on the cloak and saddle cloth and do some more work on the details, but I was too lazy at the beginning of the month. I know there is still time left but I'll be away the weekend and beginning of next week so this is it.

Pasi, that armour has been done wonderfully well and the sword also. Great work mate.

Great entrys by all so far! Here is my late entry, it was really fun to paint an elf for this painting comp! I've been painting dwarves for far too long now :P

Hi guys, maybe a stupid question...
I really like the bases where you place a rock first and glue the mini to the rock.
But are these minis still playable? Cause they grow a bit this way...
Nice entrys so far, keep up the good work.

Here's my kind of last minute entry. Due to flood in my home area and loads of work for uni I thought feared I couldn't enter this month's contest at all. At least not with a decent entry. But well.. I managed to finish the mini of Lady Galadriel of Lothlorien!
I had to abandon the thought of a freehand on her dress though, due to the lack of time I had. On the other hand I managed to create a base with elvish ornaments for her, that should represent a bit of the "Lorien flair" ;)

Enough talking here's my pic of proof and my (not quite?) finished Galadriel. :)
(btw.: it was the first time that I basecoated a mini with white! ^^)

Very nice Galadriel, I love the hints of blue in her cloak. Very calming to look at, as she should be.

Burned the fingertips off myself positioning the light. The glue is still drying on the base. You'll give me 5 mins grace pretty please?

Stunning Gene, absolutely gorgeous, as are so many others this month. Well done all, this is going to be an incredibly hard month to pick a favourite.
