I have made this challenge to last until the end of August as the selection thread is up a little late. If all entries finish before the august end date then let me know and i'll get the vote up early. So heres the choices for you.

Trolls, I hope! The summer break will probably give me enough time to do what I've long wanted to do: sculpt a true-to-the-book cave troll (scales and toe-less feet)! :D

I went for Anarion as I definitely want to do him and a mounted Elendil some time. Trolls take so much putty to make from scratch.....

You don't need to make them from scratch as it is also a conversion challenge!

Definetly trolls for me too! Now that my finals are over I finally have time again :D

Bah. I voted Ent to try and get another Tree Giant done. I already have 13 trolls.

I am pretty sure I only have the 1 troll with hammer, 1 with spear and 1 chieftain and 0 ideas for how to convert them which is why i mentioned going from scratch. Any suggestions or ideas for what to do?

I voted for Ents too, but I feear they're not as popular?
I wonder why? There are so many different ways for building/converting Ents.. :(

We've done ents before, though I think that was a painting challenge. I don't think we've ever done trolls (sculpting or painting).

just a suggestion of troll/ent for a joint category as it would appease good and evil alike and as they are both large creatures so are similar in a way??

just a thought anyone else like this idea???
