Hey everyone, :)

Just the other day, my older brother was talking about how we wanted to find a good hobby to fill up his spare time. So, my thoughts went right to miniature wargaming. I showed GW's site and the Warhammer mini's really caught his eye. We headed down to Hobby Town and purchased The Battle for Skull Pass starter set. Since then he's started to get to work on painting some models up. Today he finished his first dwarf, and I must say that it is a far better first mini then my own. At the rate he's progressing he'll pass me up in paint skill in no time!

So here's the dwarf for you,

Now, we'll just have to convince him how much better LOTR is.

Thanks for all the kind comments. It's very nice for me to see my older brother get into the hobby, as we are very close and it adds another bond to make us closer. :)

Thats cool Josh!, you should definately try to convince him to start LotR instead of WH or maybe he could collect both...

He's also a really good painter for a begginer!

Yeah, I've recently convinced my older brother to start painting too. Unfortunately, I kind of regret it, as he now has these grand ideas of painting like Tidoco, Olofer, and Darkwind in a matter of weeks or months........ :x I've tried explaining to him that these people have been painting for years, but he shrugs it off and says "I'm a natural at everything I try."

Back on topic, tell your brother I said he's getting off to a very good start. If he paints that good on his first attempt, I can't wait to see his painting a year or two from now. :-D

By the way, try and convince him to get an account here :-D
