Post subject:  WHF Bretonnian army WIP
I started a Bretonnian army just for painting the knights, it's slow progress painting knights (especially when distracted by the new hobbit stuff), but I thought starting a thread might help me multi task and get more done.

I wanted all the heraldry to be painted, no transfers, with the intention of improving my skills, so by the end of the army I can paint better banners etc.

Those are all looking incredible, Brets were my first foray in to Fantasy and you've definitely done justice to those wonderful models!

Lovely stuff, particularly like the skin tones on the lady in blue. Really brought out the neck and collarbones, looks really feminine. Good job.

These are stunning Jimmy. I love knights and the way you have done them is fantastic. Is the red head on the banner of the red knight freehand ? The head stands proud of the figure or what ? Whatever it is it looks great.

Yeah, the red head is freehand, on a flat shield on the barding.The design is from the army book, as I'm trying to match the knights in the book.
