Take a look at the STF youtube channel, they did a run down of what was mentioned. I dont think there were any major new announcements, just expanding on what has already been revealed.

The only thing they didn't mention that springs to mind is that there might be another look at a mass-battle version of SBG (ala War of the Ring), particularly due to popularity in America.

I didn't know WoTR was popular in America. Huh. My favorite thing about that book is all the really great terrain. If you are an avid terrain builder, it's worth getting a copy just for inspiration. I think they should do something similar to "There and Back Again". Rules revisions, FAQs, new Hobbit trilogy armies and additions/revisions and lots more scenarios. I'd buy it just for the scenarios. You can always scale them down to 1000 or less points for skirmish.
