Project X is not due for release until October, November or December, if your only waiting to the 22nd of Septembder you'll be dissapointed, plus GW don't care about Bilbo's Birthday. |

Quote: How could it be the Hobbit? I am afraid I have to agree. I do not think we will see Hobbit material until the Movies release. Quote: talk about killing the surprise. We have read the book. I am trying to get some of the youngsters excited about it my self. TOTAL Speculation They have the license for The Battle of Five Armies something for WOTR would be cool Quote: I'm waiting for Sept 22 (Bilbo's birthday). I don't have much hope but there has never been hope. |

The workshop is closed to anyone not working in it as they make stuff for the Hobbit, but it's not getting released until next year. Also, there is a big (unknown, so not necessarily LotR) release on the 17th of Setpember... |

Guy at the local GW store said they were getting new LotR finecasts this week... |

I have just checked GW site, there is a finecast release this week but its only Warhammer and 40k, NO LOTR. |

Potentially, but it's still a rumour at this stage and they're suggesting about £100 for it, which sounds like too much (even for GW). |

Hashut's Blessing wrote: Potentially, but it's still a rumour at this stage and they're suggesting about £100 for it, which sounds like too much (even for GW). What's still a rumor? I haven't heard a single solid rumor relating to LotRs in like 6 months, just echo boxing and chinese whispering. Hell, the first time anything suggesting Bilbo's birthday was relevant was in a thread titled "Inventing a Rumor" or something similar, with the OP actually stating outright "This is idle speculation, but wouldn't it be cool if GW released something big for Bilbo's birthday?" The only LotR rumor I know of is a couple people saying that "Something big is in the works and will be out sometime" No specifics, no details, no timeframe, no source, nothing even remotely like actual information. So I will repeat a question I asked in another thread, if someone knows something more, or can link to someone who is saying something more, please do so. |

The rumour that I was referring to was the previously mentioned Man o War style game... |

I doubt they would release anything for Bilbo's birthday or hobbit related stuff. I am pretty sure there will be a finecast release for LOTR (just by seeing the patterns) but won't be anything new. I think GW will do this until the hobbit comes out. |

LOTR releases (including finecast) do not follow the same patterns as the other two. |

There's been more than half a dozen releases each for Warhammer and 40k since they last remember they payed a licensing fee for LOTR and the Hobbit. |

I'm [word deleted] off that I can't get a dragon off of them for months now. Aren't they suppose to keep the metal productions of models going until they get turned into Finecast? Thought I've heard that. Devlan Mud I don't want a Failca... Finecos... Finecast model (damn typos). |

I know they still have the page up, but it says it's availability is in 5-6 weeks to be dispatched and it always says that. Then it counts down slowy by the weeks, then goes back up to 7-8 weeks. Has done this a couple of times now. I suppose I could try to reserve one and see what happens. |
