If a few days ago was over the weekend then both the guys were away with various obligations. They also run a podcast on the GBHL Podcast page called "the palantir" where they highlighted their weekend plans because of a missed episode. If they don't respond quick enough; it might be worth asking over on the GBHL facebook page. Hope this helps.

Hi Seren, sorry for the delay, the whole project is done in our spare time so sometimes real-life has a habit of getting in the way! I've just replied to your email, thanks for the support! :-)

I most certainly understand real life getting in the way. My painting backlog is truly frightening because of real-life!

Issue 6 will be initially released at our Seven Stones Doubles tournament next weekend. It will go on general release a few weeks after that, likely on Monday 4th June. However, for anyone who pre-orders the new issue (and there are a lot already!), we'll try and get the magazine posted out a bit early.

Hi all! Well, with the fabulous news that Photobucket has released all the old photos and everything's up and running again I'm delighted to show off the cover for the latest issue of SBG Magazine - Issue 6!

As you can see from the cover, our latest issue focusses on the dramatic charge of Thorin's Company from the gates of Erebor and into the Battle of the Five Armies. The centrepiece of the issue is a gigantic 10,000 point battle-report that features 450 models in a desperate clash to decide the fate of Erebor. It's also chock full of all the usual SBG goodness, an Iron Hills Tacitica from Will Champion, a Painting Masterclass for Thorin, King Under the Mountain from DMS, Sculpting tips for creating our custom Thorin, FIli and Kili from UK FreddyBear and another 2 articles from myself and Tom's regular columns - it's a good'un!

I was also amused to flick through this thread today and see this post from last May that predicted this issue would be released in April 2018 - a month late's not too bad I suppose!

Ha, Issue 6?!?! Hard to say, we know what's going into it and work's already begun (and completed in some cases) on various scenery and miniature bits and bobs. All being well, I'd guess it would be released at the Desolation of Stockport next year so maybe April 2018 - feels like a loooong way off though! :-)

Hilarious to read that that was my post! Always awed to see the dedication the SBG mag team has for the hobby; I was blown away by the description and I haven't read the magazine yet! I'd love to see you guys visit the new Pelennor Fields next issue and maybe some Gondor in other Ages material. I'm sure between the editors you could field a crazy large herd of mumakil.
