Post subject:  View your article's progress through the proofreading stage

Go to the Article Status page -> clicky link<-
Draft
If your article has a status of Draft, it means you are still working on it and so we'll leave it alone until you change the status to Submitted. If you don't do anything with the article for 21 days, we will delete it without asking you.
Submitted
If your article has a status of Submitted it means that the proofreaders will take a look at it. So if you aren't ready for that yet, change the status to Draft.
What happens during proofreading?
The proofreading team (currently, everyone on the staff) will discuss your work amongst themselves. Rather than give your work to individual proofreaders, we are working as a team and so everyone gets to have a say in whether the article is approved or not. This way, every proofreader knows what is considered to be suitable for inclusion in the library and the standards remain high (that's the idea at least).

Once we have made a decision, someone from the proofreading team will contact you and, if its rejected, will explain why the article did not meet the standards required. If there is more work required, then they will give you an explanation of what that work should be.

Please ask questions if you don't understant anything.
