Evening. Only just joined and want get into lotr SBG. I currently have 1 box of dwarf warriors. 1 box of dwarf commanders and 1 dwarf ballista on route. Not sure which order to put them in and also which book to use. Any tips? |

Welcome Hutchie, The Lists for your armies will be in the Free Peoples book. You’ll also need the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey rules manual. You can get this as a hardback book with scenarios and army lists from the first Hobbit film or you can buy the Escape from Goblin Town box which includes a small version of the rules manual (without scenarios and army lists). You can also usually find the smaller rules manual on eBay. Hope that helps |

What you’ve got is a good start. You’ll definitely need Both books that Farmer Maggot mentioned. In terms of more dwarves to bolster your force consider another box of dwarf warriors and maybe a box of dwarf rangers as well. The unique heroes are strong options as well. Dain and Balin are good. I’d highly suggest The Kings Champion. He is a combat monster. |
