hiya , for some ramdom fun, I want to find out what what you would include in a 500 pt army of choice
loads of weak units to overwhelm
or
not so many tough, stronger units?

Tried to post here earlier today so here goes again: armies tend to be some blend of bog-standard troops and a few captains/heroes/characters/monsters. So you are always going to see a bit of both other than if you opponent is mad. So, the poll options really don't suit the reality of the game, in my opinion, so I cannot cast a vote. |

To be honest I love just ploughing through weak forces with heroes like Aragorn but you'd really need a mix. |

I love taking an army of 5 trolls (Four Mordor and a Cheiftain) in a 500 point battle Very hard hitting But for some reason I am always out numbered... |

since i play dwarves and urak-hai i will take quality over quantity any day of the week. as i say strengh is not in numbers, strength is in strength. and all khazad guard and urak have superior strength. |

A Mix if always the best way, a Core of hard hitting tough guys and plenty of cannon fodder. If you use only Hard hitters it means each loss will effect you greater as it is a larger part of your force. Losing a little guys makes no difference, (and sometimes can be a game winner, thowing a string of cannon fodder at a big hero can tie them up and effectively take them out of the game.) |
