These are great! I have 3 cave trolls and Bhurdhur and I've been meaning to do exactly the same thing for a long time, now. The popsickle stick armor is really creative and looks great.

Fantastic work! There's so much character and individuality to each one. They each set off the imagination as to how they gathered up their rag-tag armour and clothing!

Wow! You've certainly given me some ideas for my trolls, can't wait for them to arrive! Amazing work!

Ok. so unfortunately the trolls have been sitting on my shelf for longer than I would have liked. I'm still waiting for the third troll to arrive (way to go 3rd party vendors!) and all the excitement of the holidays with travel and visitors put a serious cramp in my hobby time.

but not all has been in vain! I picked up some corsairs a while back to fit into my haradrim army, and I've been working on some Reaver conversions.

but beyond the generic "swap out the shield arm" conversion, thusfar I've been able to make use of nearly every corsair model!

hop on over to the TMAT blog for more photos.

well, now that my gaming group has set up a tournament for early March, these Corsairs (and their Harad allies) have been taking up all of my hobby time. I finally finished getting them all painted up - at least to a tabletop standard. Hoping to go back for more details later.

Not too shabby, eh?

comments/ideas always welcome!

As always, you can head over to theTMAT blog for more photos and the rest of my current projects for this Harad force.

Thanks. I like adding little details that make them stand out from the boxed models.

Okay... so it has taken the better part of four years to get off my duff and finish them, but the hill trolls finally have been completed!

sorry for the poor photos... need to get a proper miniature photo setup.

Hill Troll 1 (added bones/chains, cloth and warg pelt):

Hill Troll 2 (added mask, sword, fur and leathers):

and finally, Buhrdur (modified sword) at the head of the pack:

So nice to finally get these out of the backlog :D

Not all your photos are showing up on my cpu. Anyway nice band of hill trolls. Seeing the time it took you from when you first posted your WIP until now hilariously reminds me of how long I take to complete a project. Like the fur and added to details to your trolls, very unique warband.

edited to fix photo links... not sure why they showed for me and were glitchy elsewhere.
