Post subject:  WiP Iron Hills Dwarves
Hey All,

Just got into the LOTR/HOBBIT SBG. Fell in love with the Iron Hills dwarves and how baller they look!. Attended a small tournament on Saturday and they went bloody well, but I have so very much to learn!!

Anyway, it was a 300pter so I took Dain on Boar with 11 Spearmen. Next on the table will be a goat captain and some goats.

Very nice. I personally never cared much for the dwarves' design, but you did a fine job painting them, especially Dain's beard.

Thanks mate.

I have since started on the conversion of the Iron Hills Captain on goat. Quite simply, just added a shield and plume to him aswell as sculpting up a cloak with some fur at the top

I've also made a dismounted figure incase he gets knocked off his goat

Inspiring! I cannot wait to get mine! I plan on taking Dwalin and mounting him on a Goat!!! Keep it up!!!
