ive just started my orcs and goblins army and i was wondering who my main adversery will be out of the armies so essencially whos best? |

it really depends on how much skill your opponent has with his/her army. Any of these could beat a beginner if played right. I voted wood elves simply because i use them even though now thy are decent in the most powerful rankings. But yeh deamons are pretty nasty, lizardmen can also give people a pretty good thrashing. In warhammer their no real overpowered armies and no one is the best. Some army's are better against some army's but are weak against other but if I need too choose I think I take empire or dwarfs gunline armies. |

hero of gondor: that's the idea, but some are inherently stronger against most armies than others. IMO, your prime adversary are Dwarfs, but that's fluff  It's still early days for 8th edition, but High Elves are very strong (overpowered with the FAQ about Swordmasters if you take the full 50% Special as them) now and likely to crop up because of Island of Blood. Ogres Kingdoms dish out HUGE amounts of damage, but magic is their biggest weakness. |

thanks my opposiyions gonna be lizard men, tomb kings and beastmen so im reaserching them to see there weaknesses

Lizard men have the best wizards so you being orcs it's going to be hard fighting them. |

If I may add, beastmen are insane at melee and will destroy anything especially human armies, in addition their special rules allow the, frenzy almost every round of melee and their ambushing rule allows lots a troops to get behind the enemies, the only weakness I would say would be their lack of wizardy, they only get about 3 Lorses of magic. |

I personally still love my Wood Elves, even though they are still two editions behind on a book. But Daemons are going to be what you fight the most, with Skaven and High Elves coming close behind because of Island of Blood |

I would actually say lizardmen, deamons and warriors of chaos are the most powerful, i play a lot of fantasy and know quite a few people who do, i would advise putting a profile on Ordo Fanaticus as they have a heavy fantasy following. |

Don't do Wood Elves. I love my Asrai, but they are old and outdated. Go High Elves with a bunch of Swordmasters. |
