Thanks for the offer marsbar but they would look funny mixed in with the others. Plus, I was planning on using my grimhammer-converted-to-erebor dwarf army. But I'll wait probably now until ToS in feb for it to make its competitive debut.

I couldn't attend this tournament but I wanted to know could someone post the top 5 for instance army lists ? And a picture of the best painted one ? I'm training for the TOS in France. Thank you.

The winning list was 2 gundabad shamans, 2 regular goblin shamans, durburz, 6 warg marauders, 3 wild wargs, and 51 goblins (somethign along those lines)

Second place was Saruman on horse, Grima, Lurtz, an uruk shaman, vrasku, 19 ferals, 2 pikemen, and 11 uruk crossbows

Third place was dark marshall, khamul, undying, and knight of umbar on fell beasts with an orc taskmaster

That said I believe third could well have gone to a Gandalf the white+minas tirith list if the player using it had not arrived late.

You've written undying twice.

Interesting that 2nd and 3rd are not what you'd call "normal" armies

Also I'm pretty sure I had 19 Feral Uruks and not 19 shamans

It certainly wasn't shamans that trapped and slaughtered the Goblin King in a demented bout of Marsbar dice-fail :-)

What Goblin King? I thought that was Slimer from Ghostbusters?

Oh Damian as if I was actually going to try and beat you when you were so ill and gave those puppy dog eyes. I obvs would've won had I not felt so bad for you xoxoxoxoxo

Hope you are feeling better for the next time we clash (it will be more like a demolition than a clash though - and I won't be getting demolished for once mwahahahaha).

Indeed it was:

Durburz
2x Blackshield Shamans
2x Goblin Shamans
6x Marauders
3x Wild Wargs
26 Goblins with Shield
25 Goblins with Spear

Total 749, 65 models.

Marauders proved to be insane, like 6 mini spider queens, especially when supported by another 60 warriors :D
