Would anyone be interested in an rpg style event, a bit like battle companies/DnD meets one of those sort of 'campaign' style games? Each player controls a generic hero (to a points cap) and then a good and evil team are formed, with each one being dm'd by an individual game master. The teams travel around a map of middle earth, deciding where to go as a team and gaining resources and soldiers along the way (i.e going to harad could get you a bottle of poison, and using it will give everyone on your team re-rolls on wounds for one game, while going to Erebor could let you hire some iron guard with the 'gold' you have acquired). Each team would be given a goal that collides with the enemy goal, so the whole thing would likely end with an epic battle between the two teams. I reckon this sort of idea has potential, what do y'all think? |

That. Sounds. Awesome. I love Battle Companies, so I think this has some serious potential. |

Sounds great to me! How would this work though? Would it be an online campaign with this community (and with TLA, as I saw you posted this there too)? Or would it be something like a weekend event? Either way, I love the idea, and I would love to contribute! I can help especially, I think, with the campaign aspect (I'm in the process of making a Campaign Supplement, so I can give a lot of ideas or modify what I have so far). |

Ok, to clarify, this would certainly be a weekend/day event - not an online one. So if you reading this happen to be one of the regular tourney/event goers in the uk, or just someone who would seriously consider attending an event that could well be many hours away from you, lemme know if this appeals to you  Feanor I will pm you later to try and *ahem* steal your ideas. |
