And I also just noticed that in locked threads, the 'locked' icon isn't showing up. It's just an empty box with a red cross. I saw this in some locked threads in the 'Article Library Feedback' forum.

Edit: Alan, I was reading your article on the Gatehouse of Edoras, and the links at the end to your other 2 articles don't seem to work. I got this message:

I've increased the limits on the To9G gallery John, so try again please.

Yep, meant to get around to doing some cooler buttons and images for some parts of the site, but didn't quite finish them off in time (and then forgot to upload the old ones anyway). I'll sort that out next.

There may be some problems with uploading articles too. I started redesigning the article status page and think I broke it. That's second on the list. It's amazing how many pages there are on this website!

And then I'll work on 'prettying up' the Admin pages - and will improve the security for it too.

At work now... using Internet Explorer 6.0

Some of the images (awards, LOTR SBG / WOTR / buttons in forum) show a white background instead of being transparent...

Probably cause it's an older version?

I edited your link Bart so I can see what the image looks like now.

Yep, that's the joy that Microsoft brings. Earlier versions of IE had a problem showing the transparency layers in PNG files. So it looks like I might have to revert to using good ol' GIF files again. MS sucks.

Mine works okay on IE.7

One more thing, i tried to preview my article, and it squashed itself up on the right of the page.

Also, on some pages, the main body of text does not appear here. but is at the far bottom and starts when the bar to the left ends.

I'll dig up an example...

This is a good example - it also does this on the pages to vote for articles.

Thanks everyone. Most of these bugs/errors will be easy to fix, the difficult part is finding them all.

Bart, can you upgrade to IE7? The graphics work well in that version.

Tactical Index Links aren't working: I was browsing the tactical index looking for ideas for Khand, and the links there all take me to the first page in the thread, not the page that starts that particular discussion.

But I figured at post 242, that's about 12-13 pages in, so I found it anyway :)

I know the feeling KJ! I thought to myself yesterday "Hmm, I wonder if they came up with a new layout yet..." Then the site loadded and :shock: . It's CHANGED!

But I've only found 2 mistakes so far, and Alan's fixed them within the hour! :-D
