The new Elrond model will be available to pre-order next week, along with Rivendell dice, Dale dice, ruins, a witch-king diorama and the new starter box (although that won't get delivered until Christmas).

Having failed to order Glorfindel quickly enough, will be watching closely to get Elrond before he goes out of stock!

(Glorfindel will no doubt be back at Forgeworld soon once they've poured out some more resin!)

Will be very interested in seeing the prices and if they will continue to keep the new Saruman, etc, available separately.

The rumour elsewhere is the battlehosts will be £52.50 each, which might work out something like $85 (based on how they convert some other £52.50 products on GW). So might be a reasonably good saving.

The plastic heroes will continue to be sold separately. These are just value bundles to help people start building their armies.

Are we presuming the new Faramir and the other captains will be some available separately, and perhaps the ruins too?

I doubt they'll do that right away. Wouldn't make sense from a sales perspective.

Good to hear. I think it is a brilliant job on GW's part to have individual stats for the Battlehosts and the simplified rules available for download. Hope it brings in new players.

Almost need to take these to a print shop for best results.

I don't own any Rivendell forces but that Elrond just looks so good. I love the plastic character series they've got going on.
